Time for "Dub C" to honor its top grad all time. Change the name and get back its players from other schools who stole them and started winning state titles.

After HC Bruce Hardin left for AL Brown to win them 2 state titles and HC Tom Knotts went to Independence a lot followed and helped win a record 7 straight 4A State Titles and 109 consecutive wins in the '00 decade.

The 109 wins is a national public high school record snapped in OT in 2007 by Elder Catholic Boys High School at University of Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium 42-34 aired on ESPN.

The old West Charlotte HS name needs to be retired and renamed:

MO COLLINS MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL

No chance. Mo was big, but he would be the first to say he isn't bigger than West Charlotte.

You know.

Geezzzzzzzzzzz ...

So name it Mo Collins or Beatties Ford Road HS if they keep wanting to change their name ...

Too many generic names in this joint anyway ... East West North South Mecklenburg not enough?

Its debatable if it is even in West Charlotte anyway.
More like West Central City.

Time to move on ... Life too short ..

Death is a part of life ... Everybody gotta go sooner or later ... Deal with it ...

Nostalgia or anticipation always greater than realization ...
